Questions
What happens to transparent areas?
JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas become white. To keep them, convert to WebP instead.
Which quality should I choose?
The default, 85, looks the same as the original for photos. Screenshots with small text stay crisper at 90 or more.
How much smaller will it be?
For photos, often 5 to 10 times smaller. The size of each result is shown before you download it.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your own browser, on your device. Your images are never sent to a server, and we never see them.
