Your files stay on your device

Shrinkal's tools process your files inside your own browser. Your images are not uploaded to our servers or anyone else's, we never see them, and we do not store them. When you close the page, they are gone.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which tools are used and where they fail, so we can improve them. It records page views and simple tool events — for example that an image was compressed, its format (such as JPEG), a size range, or that a format was not supported.

We never send file names, file contents, image metadata (such as location) or anything you type. Google Analytics uses cookies and receives standard browser information such as your IP address, as described in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Google signals and ad personalisation are turned off.

Server logs

Like most websites, our web server keeps short-lived technical logs of page requests (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and reliability. These logs never contain your files.

No accounts, no ads

Shrinkal has no accounts and shows no ads, so we do not collect names, email addresses or payment details.
