Questions
Can everyone open WebP?
Every current browser shows WebP, as do most image apps. Some older software and upload forms do not — keep the JPG for those.
Which quality should I choose?
The default, 85, looks like the original. 75 is smaller and still good for most web images.
Is the photo’s location kept?
No. Location, camera details and the other hidden information are left behind.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your own browser, on your device. Your images are never sent to a server, and we never see them.
