Questions

Which aspect ratios can I use?

Free (any shape), 1:1 (square, e.g. profile pictures), 4:5 (portrait posts), 3:2 (classic photo), 16:9 (widescreen, e.g. video thumbnails) and 9:16 (stories and reels).

Can I crop to an exact size in pixels?

Yes. Type the width, height and position of the crop area in pixels. The box follows, and it always stays inside the image.

Can I use it without a mouse?

Yes. Tab to the crop area and move it with the arrow keys, or tab to a corner and resize it with the arrow keys. Hold Shift for bigger steps. The number fields work too.

Does cropping reduce quality?

The pixels you keep are not changed. JPG and WebP files are saved again at quality 90, so there is no visible loss; PNG stays lossless. The image keeps its format.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Your image is cropped by your own browser, on your device. It is never sent to a server, and we never see it.
