Questions

Will my images be stretched?

No. By default the aspect ratio is kept: give a width or a height, and the other side follows. For an exact size, choose "Crop to fill" to trim the edges instead of stretching — or "Stretch" if you really want it.

Can I make an image bigger?

Yes, but only if you ask: tick "Enlarge smaller images", or use a percentage above 100. Enlarging cannot add detail, so small images may look soft. Results are limited to 50 megapixels.

Do resized images lose quality?

Shrinking uses high-quality resampling, and JPG and WebP files are saved again at quality 90, so the change is not visible. PNG stays lossless. Each image keeps its format.

What about photos taken sideways?

Photos are turned the right way up first, so the width and height you choose are the ones you see.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Your images are resized by your own browser, on your device. They are never sent to a server, and we never see them.
