Questions

Will the pages look the same?

Yes. Every page is copied as it is — text, images, size and rotation — without re-compressing anything. Images are added as pages of their own size.

Is anything left out?

Bookmarks (the outline) and fillable form fields aren’t carried over into the merged file. Anything already filled in still shows on the page, and links between pages, web links and comments keep working.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

A PDF that needs a password to open, or whose owner restricted changes, can’t be merged — it is marked and left out, and the other files are merged. Protected PDFs that allow changes (as many statements are) merge normally.

Is there a limit?

Up to 100 files and 250 MB at once, each PDF up to 100 MB and each image up to 50 MB, and up to 1000 pages in the merged PDF.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your files are merged by your own browser, on your device. They are never sent to a server, and we never see them.
